Lacrosse… an ancient North American game played by the native populations, most notably the Iroquois nation, of what is now Canada and Northern United States. While some would say the “Indians” invented the game, Native American historians would contend that the game was, “…given to our people by the Creator to play for his amusement.”
Lacrosse, or Tewaarathon / Baggataway, is a game rich in heritage and prestige. It is our goal to promote the game locally as well as continue to build it’s heritage and prestige with community involvement, sportsmanship, team ethics, and good old hard play.
